Terms of Service
Last updated: January 1, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and StratForge Group("StratForge," "we," "us") governing your access to and use of StratForge Claims Assistant, our websites, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
StratForge Claims Assistant is a software tool that helps United States veterans organize, review, and understand documents related to their VA disability claims. The Service is educational and organizational in nature. It does not provide legal, medical, financial, or VSO advice, and it does not represent you before the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Subscriptions, billing, and renewals
Paid plans ("Pro") are offered on a monthly or annual subscription basis. By starting a paid subscription, you authorize us and our payment processor (Stripe) to charge the payment method on file at the then-current price for your plan, plus applicable taxes. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date. Prices may change on renewal; we will provide reasonable advance notice of material price changes.
4. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Subscription page or by contacting support. When you cancel, your paid access continues through the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and your plan will not renew.
5. Refund policy
Except where required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable, including partial-period fees for the remainder of the current billing period after cancellation. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days and we will review your request in good faith.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload content you do not have the right to share.
- Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or malicious.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our infrastructure.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service or its AI features.
- Use the Service to impersonate another person, or to submit false or fraudulent information to the VA or any other party.
- Use the Service to compete with us or to build a competing product.
7. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you upload, for reviewing AI-generated output before relying on it, and for following any instructions from the VA or your representative regarding your actual claim. The Service is a tool to help you prepare and understand information — it is not a substitute for professional advice.
8. Document ownership
You retain all rights to the documents and content you upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, display, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of operating the Service for you (for example, storing your files, indexing them for search, and sending relevant portions to AI providers when you use an AI feature). We do not sell Your Content, and we do not use it to train AI models.
9. AI limitations and disclaimer
AI features are powered by third-party machine learning models. AI outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, and may reflect the biases of underlying models or training data. The Service is educational and organizational only. It is not legal advice, not medical advice, not financial advice, and does not represent the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Always verify important information and consult a qualified professional (for example, a VA-accredited representative, attorney, or licensed clinician) before acting on it.
10. Third-party services
The Service integrates with third-party providers (including Supabase, OpenAI, Stripe, email delivery, hosting, and analytics providers). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
11. Not affiliated with the VA
StratForge Claims Assistant is an independent software platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, approved by, or sponsored by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or any other government agency.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from Settings.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT AI OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
14. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STRATFORGE GROUP AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) US$100.
15. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless StratForge Group from and against any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.
16. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. To the extent permitted by law, you and StratForge agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting stratforgegroup@gmail.com and allowing 30 days to resolve the dispute before filing a formal claim.
17. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
